Current & Active Projects

This is where you’ll find the work currently taking shape in the Wagstaff Library.

Some projects are newly started. Others have been developing for months or years. They may involve music, education, creative experiments, research, human development, writing, technology, or ideas that do not fit neatly into a single category.

This section is intentionally fluid.

Projects may appear here while they are being developed, expanded, tested, reorganized, or simply explored. Some will eventually become permanent collections elsewhere in the Library. Others may move into the Archive when their active development is complete.

Not everything here is finished.

That is the point.

The Wagstaff Library is not only a place for completed work. It is also a place where ideas can develop in public view—where experiments can lead somewhere unexpected, and one project can become the beginning of another.

What appears here will change as the work changes.

This is what’s happening now.

Study Percussion is a living collection of percussion education and resources developed for
students, teachers, performers, and anyone interested in learning more about percussion.

The project brings together lessons, reference materials, exercises, practical tools, and other

The Percussion Encyclopedia is a growing reference collection devoted to the instruments,
traditions, techniques, terminology, people, and history of percussion.

Designed for students, educators, performers, and curious explorers, the Encyclopedia brings
information together in an accessible place where individual topics can be explored independently or
followed into related subjects.

Like percussion itself, the collection is enormous—and it will continue to grow.

ROCKS

ROCKS is an evolving creative project built around Mo and Jo—two rocks whose adventures
explore friendship, curiosity, learning, and the world around them.

The project brings together illustrated stories, books, music, artwork, educational ideas, and other
creative experiments, with new possibilities continuing to emerge as Mo and Jo’s world grows.

At its heart, ROCKS is about discovering how much can happen when imagination begins with
something very simple.

Songs for Lilith is an expanding collection of original music inspired by the many stories,
interpretations, and ideas surrounding Lilith.

Drawing from mythology, folklore, religion, psychology, history, art, and imagination, the project
approaches Lilith not as a single fixed character, but as a figure who has been continually
reinterpreted across cultures and generations.

New songs and ideas continue to expand the collection, allowing the project to evolve in unexpected
directions.

Drums and Drones explores the meeting place between rhythm, resonance, sustained sound, and
atmosphere.

Built around percussion and evolving sonic textures, the project creates space for musical
experimentation beyond conventional song forms—where repetition, vibration, improvisation, and
sound itself can become the focus.

It is an ongoing laboratory for listening, creating, and discovering where drums and drones can lead.

In Colombia is an ongoing window into life, culture, creativity, and everyday experience in Colombia.

Through photographs, observations, stories, social media, and other projects, it offers glimpses of
the people, places, traditions, contrasts, and unexpected moments encountered along the way.

It is less about explaining Colombia than about noticing it—sharing experiences, asking questions,
and allowing the country to speak for itself.

This work brings together counseling, consulting, education, leadership, and human development
with a common focus: understanding people and helping individuals, relationships, and
organizations grow.

Drawing from decades of professional experience, the work may involve personal development,
communication, relationships, leadership, organizational challenges, decision-making, and
navigating periods of change.

The approach is practical, thoughtful, and grounded in the understanding that human beings—and
the situations they create—are rarely simple.

TRUTH

TRUTH is a completed original music project exploring truth, belief, perception, contradiction, and the complicated ways human beings understand what is real.

Although the creative work itself is complete, the music continues to be shared and discovered by
new listeners.

TRUTH remains part of the living Library—not because it is still being developed, but because
completed work can continue to provoke questions, create connections, and find new audiences.

16 Human Archetypes is an ongoing exploration of recurring patterns in human personality,
behavior, relationships, motivation, and development.

The project uses sixteen archetypal perspectives as a framework for asking questions about how
people understand themselves, interact with others, respond to challenges, and move through the
world.

Rather than placing people into rigid categories, the archetypes are intended as tools for reflection,
conversation, and deeper exploration of human experience.
